The professionally produced film is about a school teacher named Amy (played by Tracy Lucca, of Hammonton), who goes to a coffeehouse and plays chess with a man named Jesse. In the course of the games, she confronts the demons of her past, including her abusive parents and a cheating fiance. She returns a third time to find her new opponent is the devil, but she defeats him using the lessons Jesse taught her.
