We had an AWESOME time at conference! Praise God!
First we had at least 80-85 kids, ages 3 - 14, WOW! Plus 50 adults
including Equipping Center students and several men came out to support
us - now that was awesome! The outpouring during altar call was awesome.
Every child was individually prayed for. We had an area set up for
healing, for salvation and another area set up for deliverence. Pastor
Josh had the line for salvation and approximately 20-25 kids gave
their lives to the Lord. Here are a few testimonies:
I received a call from Lenora Camper who is on my staff who said one
of
the older girls 13/14-years-old was having a hard time communicating
with her mom and having trouble in school; grades and fighting; it
was bad; anyway, the young girl said she loved the conference because
she received answers and understanding of things like she had never
received before. She said she went home and restored the relationship
with her mom. The mother said she could see a big difference in her
daughter, she said she had changed and was grateful. The young girl
said she had never heard things explained to her like this before
and she loved the way it was all about and for kids.
Brother Skip from Dunamis Ministries and my husband TJ prayed for
the little Castillo girl, Julianna. I saw her in that prayer line
by the pictures taken. Maria communicated to me Monday that her little
girl was healed. In the past we had been discussing her daugher's
skin issue and she said it was especially bad on her hands the past
week. Maria said, this week she came into her room and said, "Look
at my hands!" Maria said she looked and saw that they were smooth
as could be! She said that at church, some men prayed over her skin
issue. They were running off to school, so she didn't take time to
get the whole story, but she said Julianna said that the coolest part
was that after they finished, she said, "I felt so happy!"
There was one little girl Abrianna, 5 years old, who I noticed earlier
was quite sad looking. Later on that morning I saw she was angry and
fearful and crying and was lying in the chairs in the back of the
sanctuary by herself. When I approached her she cried louder and told
me no to leave her alone. I tried to hug her and comfort her but she
said not to touch her and she didn't want me to pray for her and cried
louder. I stood behind the chairs and extended my hand and prayed
in tongues and said "I'm going to stand back here and I'm not
going to touch you but Jesus will" and she continued to toss
and turn and cry. I stayed and continued to pray for the river of
God's peace to flow over her and eventually the peace of God flowed
over her and calmed her; though she cried softly on my shoulder, she
allowed me to hold her for a long time and then she walked with me
to the altar, got some tissue and she allowed Pastor Robin Roberts
(our speaker from Delaware) and I to pray for her. When we were through,
her contenance was completely changed, she glowed with a peace and
smiled with joy from the Lord and she was great the rest of the day.
Thought I'd share that with you today! Praise Him, He's a Supernatual
God!
On Wednesday night I spoke with 9-10 kids and they all loved every
minute of it and look forward to next year. They were excited giving
me some great feedback and ideas for next year. My heart is so blessed.
This is just the beginning of what God has in store for our children.
If you hear feedback of any sort please let me know whatever it is.
I love hearing feedback good or bad; to me it's all a learning and
growth journey and it is truly wonderful! Yes, I'm still resting...
; however, next up is the Shore Mall that Donna (Shannon's grandmom)
is putting together as a fund raiser for the CMA Center. Continue
to pray for us and thank you for your prayers and for all of your
support and encouragement! Oh! Going to need help getting our triangular
boards and stage props there? Hey --we enter to worship, we exit to
serve! (smile). Have a blessed weekend!
