The children will learn about putting their faith in Christ Jesus! Formerly known as Kool Kids for Christ! The Sonshine Kids Jr. Puppet Ministry Outreach is for any child who wants to work with puppets, and share the love of Jesus with their Community! This Puppet Team meets every second and fourth Sunday of each month directly after the 10:30 service in the Family Life Center. * We meet downstairs in the classroom on the right hand side of the room. * Parents and children are encouraged to come in and watch while making a decision about a child joining! Sonshine Kids Jr. Puppet Outreach Ministry is also meeting on Wednesdays during the year while working very close with Joan Johnson and CMAC, please check the schedule for dates and times! All food/drinks must be left outside the classroom; children are to wash hands and faces before handling puppets! PURPOSE: To teach and train children in all aspects of puppetry, in a fun filled environment, while also teaching them to understand what a ministry outreach is, and how they can make a difference for Christ! GOAL: To have the children come into a deeper understanding and personal walk with the Lord! To understand that as young as they are, they can effect change in their world around them! * To look beyond themselves to the loneliness of others and impact people with the light of Jesus, and the joy that puppets and children bring! To teach the kids to let their lights shine brightly for Jesus! To have the kids stand up at outreaches and give their testimonies of what God has done in their lives, and to lay hands on people and pray for them, believing for healings and miracles!
