Document of Intent
As a charismatic church we believe that God gave the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the building up of His people. We are mindful that the Apostle Paul instructed us in 1 Corinthians 14:1 "Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy." Therefore we encourage those in our church family to seek the Lord for His prophetic direction and then to share those things that the Lord might reveal to them with others. We will try to regularly post the prophetic words that have come forth at our services and other gatherings. As you read through these postings, please do so with the guidelines of 1 John 4:1 in mind: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world." We are confident that none of the words posted here has come from an individual who would knowingly speak falsely. We review all of these words before publishing or posting them. We seek to insure that every word posted here is in line with the Bible, which is our only sure source of truth. But we are aware of our own limitations, and the scriptural reminder that "...we know in part, and we prophecy in part." (1 Corinthians 13:9), so we ask that you would seek the Lord for discernment and wisdom as you read. May God reveal to you that which is His voice alone.
