The song says, climb up the mountain of the Lord. Sometimes it feels that way, just getting to God with all the things that are holding us back is like climbing a mountain, just trying to get into His presence. The steps how we get there is encountering the glory of His name, We come into the recognition of the glory of His name an holiness, and His grace, we just move towards those things. It is like the guys who climb a mountain, they grab onto a handhold here and a toehold there and they just grab and move from ledge to ledge, from handhold to handhold. Those are the thing we just have to cling to, the precious name of Jesus, and His holiness, and His grace and just move from one glory to glory, glory to glory, just climbing our way out of what ever has been holding us down to get to where He is.

I feel like the Lord has given me a sort of a revelation about this song as we are singing tonight. We find our way away from the Lord. He draws us back and it says, rightfully so, Your mercy brings me back again as you draw closer and you draw me closer. I am thinking about the story of the prodigal son. He left his father, I am sure he loved his father to some extent like you have a natural love for a father, and he ran away. When he came back he did not expect to be close to his father. The most mercy he was looking for was his father would take him in as a servant, a roof over his head and food, but he never thought he would be close to his father. And yet he ended up closer than he ever had known. I think it is good for us embrace that because when we run away we come back like the prodigal son thinking I will never be as close as I was to God because what I have done has separated me and I will never really get back to what I had. But God says, no I will have you even closer now, closer. That is not to recommend running away from God to have that experience, but we have all done it, but we need to recognize that through those things and through God’s mercy He is looking for a deeper and closer relationship with us than we have ever had before. That is what He desires. It is not what we deserve. We hold back thinking why would God want a closer relationship with me after what I have done, but He does.

The Lord showed me someone who has taken on a redecorating project. I saw you sought the opinion of someone or a designer. This is what I saw: you and the designer are not on the same page, if you will, and the outcome is not going to be what you originally wanted to achieve. A room that is used seldom, for company only, versus a family room used every day. A light mint color that shows dirt, vs. a dark rich color that does not show dirt with a more durable fabric. This is not to say to sacrifice style or being practical. Two things: pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you and two, keep in mind what you originally intended to do, creating a home, a comfortable place for your family to be together.

And after I was done I was praying and I heard in my spirit: divine design.

Luke 6: 42-45 No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick grapes from thorn bushes or from the briars. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart and an evil man brings things out of the evil stored in his heart, for of the overflow of the heart his mouth speaks.

1 Timothy 3: 14 although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions. If I am delayed you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

I believe what God was showing me is that you can hear what I say you can see what I do, but He is asking tonight is that repentance in our heart. God truly sees my heart. He knows my motive for everything I do, say and act. And I believe God is calling His people to be a pure people. You see there are things in this world, even things that they say are legal, as Christians we shouldn’t be doing. I believe what God is saying tonight is search your heart. Repent of the heart will make you pure.

Even if our gospel is veiled to those who are perishing whose mind the God of this age has blinded, who do not believe lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them. For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

I would like you all to stand with me if you would and say in agreement with me.

Our Father, I thank you Lord that we are your ambassadors. Father, we thank you Lord that you have called us out of darkness, Lord. You are the one who has unveiled our hearts, Lord. Father there was a day when we were unbelievers, Lord, but the glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the glory of God has shined into our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, we just stand tonight as your church and we lift up the face of Jesus Christ all over South Jersey , Father, we lift it up Lord that the glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ would shine. Father we lift up our belief up to you right now, Father. We lift it up over the heavens, Father; we lift it up over people who don’t know to believe yet, Father. We were in that boat one time Lord, but Father we just release the testimony of Jesus Christ over this area. Father we lift up the reality of what Christ has done in our lives, Lord, and we say now, Father, may it be released. May the testimony of Jesus Christ be released all over South Jersey . We pray Lord that you go into the darkest places, Father God, in people’s hearts. We ask that the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ would be released, Father. Again we are your ambassadors Lord, we are your representatives, Father, and Lord, love constrains us to say be released now in the name of Jesus Christ. So Father we thank you that a multitude of people weren’t even looking for you Father they are going to be found of you, Lord, because your church stands in agreement Lord. We stand in agreement Lord that the gospel of Jesus Christ will penetrate dark hearts Lord and salvation shall come, redemption shall come and many will be set free Lord. Again we lift up the testimony of Jesus Christ, that you work in every life that is represented here tonight. Father we lift that high up Lord because that testimony is Jesus Christ in our lives. So we lift it up over all of South Jersey and we ask Lord, that there be a freedom, a freedom, a freedom for your gospel to go forth. Thank you for it in Christ’s name. Amen.

The Lord showed me someone submitting to authority under Pastor Steve.

I saw this person’s willingness to assist whether it’s cleaning a toilet bowl or standing and holding a prop for the movie project that Pastor Steve is working on. In other words, whatever is needed you are there to serve.

Whether this is in the natural or symbolical I’m not sure, but it clearly represents the character, heart and motive of one willing to serve. I even saw you going back to double check the rubber pieces around the toilet bowl to make sure it were as clean as possible and that Pastor Steve would be pleased.

I saw and heard you refer to Pastor Steve as “Steve” – not disrespectfully, but as one who speaks with or addresses a friend. Lastly, I saw you stepping out of your comfort zone as you continue to serve.

While praying about this I heard in my spirit, Do this work as unto the Lord.

The Lord showed me a marriage relationship. There has been some shady business going on. For the wife in this marriage, the Lord showed me there are many which you have served.

I saw you enter a place you thought you were not suppose to go, but it is in this place that the bells and whistles are going to go off. It is in this place where the truth will be revealed and exposed.

Continue to pray; knowing with God nothing is impossible as He continues to be with you and guide you. Matthew 19:26

In addition there is a word of knowledge for someone’s leg/knee area. If that is you the Lord wants to heal you. Come up after the service and have one of the elders pray for you.
